The Backline Comedy Theatre is the best place to see local comedy right here in Omaha! From standup to improv and even sketch comedy, this is a great spot for laughs and nightlife fun downtown!

All of the Backline's shows are 18+ (or under with parent or guardian), and they serve beer, ciders, and hard seltzers for the 21+ crowd.
CLASSES
For those wanting to learn and improve their craft, the Backline also has classes, workshops, open mics, and other opportunities to get more laughs.
Backline students have gone on to make house teams at the biggest improv schools in the nation, be on national television shows and commercials, or simply use the skills they learn in their own careers, whether they are scientists or baristas.
Workshops are priced around $35, while full classes range from $200-250.

The Backline is located at 1618 Harney St. and is a perfect central location near the Old Market for a night out with dinner, drinks, and a show all within walking distance!
