Did you know having an OPL library card comes with more benefits than just the books? The library has partnerships with several Omaha venues so you can check out a day pass from the library and get into the venue for free, just for being a member of the library! Below is a list of venues you can check out a pass to:

Fontenelle Forest is a 1,400-acre forest, located in Bellevue, Nebraska. Its visitor features include hiking trails, a nature center, children's camps, a gift shop, and picnic facilities. Each of OPL’s 12 locations have day passes available (one per day/per location) for check-out year-round.
Heartland B-cycle is the first large-scale municipal bike sharing system in the Omaha metro area. Cardholders must be ages 18+ and may only check out one pass per library card. Each pass will allow one person to check out one bicycle.
Lauritzen Gardens is Omaha's botanical garden housing plant displays for all four seasons! Each of OPL’s 12 locations have day passes available (one per day/per location) for check-out year-round. Passes are good for one-time admission and each pass admits two adults and children from your household.

Limited passes to the Henry Doorly Zoo are available. The OPL website currently says there are no passes available but that the next release will be sometime in 2022.
