Creative Culture // Bring out your creative side with a fun crafting workshop at the Creative Culture studio, while enjoying a yummy milkshake in the process!
ABOUT
Creative Culture, which opened on July 22nd, was founded through a combination of a daughter’s love for milkshakes, and a parent’s love for crafting. As a creative crafting studio, there is a large variety of self-guided projects with in-studio examples to help spark creativity — from pottery and a plant bar to a splatter studio and DIY crafts, there is something for everyone. Creative Culture has put intentional thought into each project and provides everything needed to complete your project at your own speed. Projects are designed for all ages and skill levels and everyone is welcome. When we visited, we completed the Boho Triangle Kit and the Wooden Coaster Kit! There are workshops at least once a month, such as the recent DIY Nutcracker Workshop.
Reservations are not needed, as Creative Culture is a walk-in studio that operates on a first come first served basis.
MILKSHAKES
Craving an edible work of art? Creative Culture also offers a variety of delicious milkshakes to enjoy while crafting. All milkshakes are $14 and come in a plastic biodegradable cup that you can keep. We tried out the classic Cookie Dough milkshake that consisted of vanilla ice cream, cookie dough, a variety of cookies, whipped cream, and seasonal toppings. We also grabbed the S’mores milkshake, that contains a combination of ingredients that brought back memories of sitting around a campfire: vanilla ice cream, toasted marshmallows, Hersheys chocolate, whipped cream, and seasonal toppings…yum!
LOCATION & HOURS Creative Culture is located at 1410 Howard Street and is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am to 9pm, Sundays from noon to 5pm, and is closed on Mondays.
