ABOUT Did you know Fontenelle Forest is one of the largest private nature centers in the nation? Featuring over 2,100 acres of forest, prairie, and wetlands, you can enjoy a massive variety of flora and faunas all while staying right here in Nebraska. The Forest contains premier birding sites, rare wildflowers and unlimited opportunities for outdoor adventure for anyone who wants to enjoy some fresh air and get in touch with nature. There is also a Nature Center, which has a gallery featuring exhibits about nature and history, a nature-based children's play area and a gift shop!



PLAN YOUR VISIT Fontenelle Forest offers general admission ($15 per adult, $13 per senior, $9 per child, and free for children under 2) as well as membership options so you can get the most out of your experience. An annual membership pays for itself in just a few visits and members receive a variety of benefits and discounts, such as year-round access to trails, boardwalks, the Neale Woods, Raptor Woodland Refuge, and more! You will also receive a 10% discount at the gift shop and at TreeRush Adventures. You can purchase your general admission tickets ahead of time online as well as memberships at fontenelleforest.org! Fontenelle Forest also offer rentals for binoculars ($5 for two hours), educational backpacks ($5 per backpack, serves 15-20 individuals) that encourage self-guides activities while exploring the trails, and free rentals for strollers, power scooters, and wheelchairs so that you can bring the whole family on your exploration!
