Good Evans recently opened their doors in Omaha serving breakfast, lunch and brunch!
ABOUT
Family owned Good Evans Restaurant has finally made its way to Omaha! With locations in Lincoln and Kearney, as well as Kansas City, this breakfast and lunch spot brings traditional breakfasts and American-style lunches to Omaha.
THE FOOD
I visited Good Evans for breakfast. Once I looked at the menu, I knew I had to try a housemade poptart. This is not your boxed poptart! Flavors vary daily, and once they're gone for the day, they're gone. I also tried Eggs Benedict, always a classic favorite, and creamy shrimp and grits. There are many classic favorites on the breakfast menu, plus some variations on Eggs Benedict, including Nebraska Bene with short ribs and a balsamic glaze (pictured).
The coffee is all house-roasted. If you're feeling indulgent, they have all the usual coffee shop varieties, as well. Lunch offerings include burgers, salads, sandwiches, and three different varieties of macaroni and cheese.

Good Evans is located near 72nd and Pacific. They are open daily from 6:30 am-2:30 pm.
