ABOUT HAROLD'S KOFFEE HOUSE
Harold's Koffee House is a neighborhood diner in Florence with a rich history. After his time serving in WWII, Harold Halstead went into business with two fellow businessmen and opened the Koffee House System of diners, with locations throughout the city.
When the partners went their separate ways, Harold maintained his own venture on 30th and State streets. It was a family affair, as he and his wife ran the show, and their children worked in the kitchen and front of house. The diner has been a staple in the community for decades and still serves "the same homemade gravy, hashbrowns and donuts that Grandpa Harold made in the 50's."
Harold's menu is full of classic diner fare. For breakfast, choose from a variety of bites like omelets, waffles, chorizo hash, pancakes, and breakfast nachos. For lunch, grab a burger, meatloaf sandwich, salad, soup, chili, and more.
For dessert, enjoy a donut sundae, a slice of homemade pie, a shake or malt, or a delicious cinnamon roll.
Stop in Tuesday-Saturday for Koffee Happy Hour for 85-cent bottomless coffee and $1 egg portions.
