ABOUT Beginning in 1925, Kimmel Orchard and Vineyard is dedicated to agricultural education, research and historical preservation, while producing unique, fun and memorable experiences for the whole family. There is so much to explore at Kimmel Orchard, such as hayrack rides, a u-pick apple orchard, seasonal events like the Applejack Festival and Scarecrow Festival, fresh produce and sweet Autumn treats for sale, and so much more!



SCARECROW FESTIVAL If you’re looking for a fun Autumn activity, check out the 2024 Kimmel Scarecrow Festival! On Saturday, September 28th attend Scarecrow Building Workshops at 10am or 2pm in the Kimmel Education & Research Center. It is completely free if you bring your own materials to build a scarecrow or you can purchase a Scarecrow Kit for $25. Scarecrows will be displayed throughout the orchard, and the orchard will be offering hayrack rides to enjoy all the creative scarecrow creations, as well as tons of other fun family friendly events throughout the event. The Scarecrow festival will take place from September 30th-October 13th! LOCATION & ADMISSION INFO Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard is located just a short drive from Omaha in Nebraska City, at 5995 G Road and is open Wednesday to Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 11am-5pm! Admission for adults is $6, children (4-12yo) is $3 and seniors is $4!
