ABOUT
Mootz Pizza was born in 2020 as a small pizza delivery business where customers would order via their Instagram bio and their orders would be sent out via delivery boys all over Omaha. As they began to grow, the owner and his son flipped a van to start a food truck using just 2 rock boxes (little ovens) and sold pizzas throughout Aksarben. As the family-owned business began to flourish, a brick-and-mortar location was opened on August 1st, 2023!
MENU Mootz Pizza offers all the classic-feel good Neapolitan style options with thin, crisp crust and over 10 options to choose from. Their pizzas are also fully customizable and sold whole or by the slice. We ordered two pizzas, one with four sections consisting of chicken Parmesan, buffalo chicken, oaxaca and jalapeno, and Hawaiian, and the other pizza with two sections margherita, one pepperoni and one supreme! We also ordered a side of garlic cheese sticks, and you can’t go wrong with those! 🤤 Something that sets this pizza place apart from others in the metro is how fresh all ingredients are. Basil plants used are from Staten, Iowa where they pick basil leaves straight off the plants so that they are as fresh as possible for consumption. They also offer cookies, wines and other alcoholic beverages, soda, and salads with dressings all made in-house except for Dorothea Lynch. LOCATION & HOURS Mootz Pizza is located off 90th and Pacific at 8725 Shamrock Road and is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11am to 9pm, and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
