As Omaha begins to thaw, test your roller skating skills at the Omaha Riverfront’s skating ribbon this spring!
ABOUT Located at the corner of 8th and Farnam Street, in the Heartland of America Park, the Skate Ribbon offers year-round skating options for the community. With warmer weather right around the corner, Roller Skating is now open and free to anyone bringing their own equipment, but you may also rent equipment to get in on the fun! Overlooking the gorgeous riverfront, the scenery mixed with the fun of skating is a great way to kick off a spring day downtown with friends or offers a great date idea!
SKATE RENTALS
Roller Skating is open and free to anyone who brings their own equipment, but skating rentals are also available! A skate waiver, which can be accessed on the Omaha Riverfront’s website, will need to be filled out for every visitor. Make sure to check in at the Skate Kiosk prior to entering the Skate Ribbon to verify the skate waiver has been completed. If you would like to purchase rental skates, adult skates have a $5 fee while children 12 and under can rent skates for $4. Ice skating at the Skate Ribbon is based on a reservation system. Skate rentals and general admission are for 50 minutes of skating time, which begins at the time of check-in.
To reserve ice skating time, to fill out the skate waiver, and/or to rent skate, you can visit theriverfrontomaha.com!
