Rivera's is a Mexican restaurant in west Omaha serving authentic Mexican food and over 100 different tequilas.
FOOD AND DRINK
True to their claims, Rivera's has a huge menu full of super authentic and delicious Mexican food + drinks. Start off with a Margarita (I got the pomegranate) or a cerveza. We tried the Shrimp Alambres for an appetizer (char-grilled shrimp wrapped with bacon) which came with their house-made spicy ranch sauce and was actually super filling for two people. For entrees we got the Carne Asada and Shrimp Enchilada, both of which were delicious but also HUGE portions. Expect great food here but also plan to take home leftovers!
ATMOSPHERE
You can tell this place is popular because it was already packed right when they opened at 5 pm. It has a simple suburban restaurant vibe with a cute cacti mural on the back wall and lots of regulars + families dining with them.
