Meet the Omaha Conservatory of Music's new coffee shop, The Gig!
ABOUT THE GIG
There's a new coffee shop inside the Omaha Conservatory of Music off of 72nd and Cass! You may remember this spot as Accelerando Coffeehouse, but it's being reintroduced as The Gig!
FOOD & DRINKS
The Gig serves a delicious variety of drinks, including coffees both hot and cold, teas, smoothies, and Italian sodas. Their food offerings include popular vegan banana bread, a rotating selection of house-baked cookies, as well the famous grilled cheese that was named Omaha's best in 2016.
The Gig will host its grand opening on August 13, featuring activities, photo booth opportunities, drawings, giveaways, and more. If you stop by, you can get 20% off your purchase if you mention Omaha Places!
OMAHA CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC
The Gig is located inside the Omaha Conservatory of Music (7023 Cass St) and is open 9-9 Mondays-Fridays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Even though it's owned and operated by OCM, the Gig is a public-facing business and everyone is welcome! But the cool thing is that all of the proceeds at the cafe go right back into funding music programs and toward financial aid for students at OCM. That means customers are supporting a local business AND the local arts by stopping in!
