The Joslyn has officially reopened after a 2-year renovation period!
ABOUT
The Joslyn Art Museum is back and better than ever! Originally opening in 1931 at the initiative of Sarah H. Joslyn, in memorial of her husband, it has grown to include over 11,000 works of art from artists including Monet, Renoir and Pollock. Now after 2 years of renovations, the museum has opened back up and is ready for visitors!
THE ADDITIONS Previously known as the Joslyn Art Museum, the museum has reimagined its brand including a new, shortened moniker— The Joslyn. There are tons of new things to explore, including a 42,000 square foot addition that added a third building, over 100 pieces that are brand new to the museum, and more! Explore the brand-new Phillip G. Shrager Collection, compromised of fifty-two paintings, sculptures, photographs and drawings that were added to the Museum, and not to mention — general admission is free to the public! HOURS & LOCATION The Joslyn Art Museum is located at 2200 Dodge Street and is open Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm and Wednesday and Thursday 10am-8pm!
