Before we get any further, we have an exciting announcement to make! We are expanding to Colorado! All the helpful tips and ideas you know and love from Omaha Places will now influence our work in Denver with our new account, @denverplaces_! We’re not going anywhere — just expanding our content and coverage to one of our favorite neighboring cities!
Our first adventure in Colorado was actually a little getaway, just a few hours outside of Denver!
ABOUT BUENA VISTA
A little over two hours outside of Denver, Buena Vista is a beautiful town filled with great food, impeccable views, cute shops, bakeries, and more! With an elevation of 7,965 feet and a population of about 3,000, Buena Vista is the perfect small mountain town to explore over Labor Day Weekend.

We also checked out the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and stayed at the Midnight Mountain Airbnb, a tiny home that was perfect for a weekend getaway!
